Why did you start teaching?

I saw the need for effective nurses. I saw too many errors occurring that could have been prevented if the nurse was thinking and anticipating the needs of the patient.

What advice would you give to nurses considering the online RN to BSN program?

Dedication to complete the classes is critical to completion. Students need to stay focused and manage their time effectively to balance the demands of work, personal and academic life.

Why are you interested in nursing? What drew you to this field?

Initially, it was because I wanted to help people who are sick.

What is the one book you think everyone should read?

Tuesdays with Morrie by Mitch Albom.
